Overview
We are recruiting for a number of clinically minded optometrists across our network of eCare Medical Eye Practices, including Windsor, Ipswich and Colchester. We run hospital style eye clinics focusing on glaucoma, anterior and posterior eye in a step down or primary assessment service funded by the nhs. We do not refract for the retail of glasses. Out of Windsor we run a step-down eye casualty / primary assessment service within Windsor hospital running 5 days a week handling patient deemed non emergencies (low and medium risk) from eye casualty. Also, patients due for follow up visits in primary assessment clinic having been seen originally in eye casualty. Where indicated by clinical governance we offer consultant telemedicine review. The clinics are exceptionally well equipped, paperless and in good environments. Roles can be full time or part times.
