Cordant People are currently recruiting for a Production team leader in Tiverton. As a Production team leader, you will be a part of a growing team and get the opportunity to learn and develop new skills. The role: Will be to deputise for the shift manager and support the packaging manager in the supervision and develop of the packaging team whose primary objective is to meet with packaging schedule while conforming to all product specification and maintaining a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping. Keeping product and material losses to a minimum, ensuring equipment is maintained and tat all health and safety requirements are adhered too. Principal accountability's: Health and safety Leadership Production SAP Quality Human resources Training Site Hygiene Key Skills we are looking for: Be a role model Assisting the shift manager to make decisions based on needs of the business Lead from the front Needs to adapt to change and driver any changed where required Health & Safety awareness Work under pressure Ability to communicate at all levels and with third parties Sound knowledge of good manufacturing practices SAP knowledge This is a temporary to permanent position on a continental shift pattern which will include days and nights.
