Overview
We are working in partnership with a growing and highly successful plant and tool hire supplier. They are currently seeking a senior plant and tool fitter to add to their expanding team in order to help keep up with the companies demands. Job Role: You will be responsible to managing a small team of small tool and plant fitters within a workshop environment, as well as being hands on. You will be conducting general services, maintenance work and repairs on a range of small tools and plant machinery including floor saws, generators, diggers and hand tools. You will work as part of a team and lease with customers as required, therefore customer service experience is essential. Requirements: To be a senior fitter you will have experience in servicing, repairing and maintaining machinery including Dewalt, Stephill, Cummins, Makita, Hiliti, Kubota, Komatsu and JCB. You will hold a PAT Testing certificate. You will ideally hold and NVQ or City and Guilds in Plant maintenance or equivalent, although not essential. You will have strive and determination to progress in your career to step up and manage and coach a small team.
