Credit Controller
Overview
Credit Controller Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy team on a permanent basis. This job would suit an experienced Credit Controller who has a strong track record in chasing overdue accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for chasing outstanding invoices to the company policy and plays a vital role in the cash flow of the organisation ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively. This company is reputable within their sector and has grown rapidly with sites nationwide, with exciting expansion plans throughout the next few years. The successful individual will be self-motivated and able to manage the level of outstanding debts through monitoring of ageing reports, daily sales orders and collection/allocation of customer remittances. The candidate should have effective communication and organisational skills with the ability to achieve targets whilst maintaining accuracy. This is suited for an individual with analytical and problem solving skills as well as good level competence in Excel. Duties will include: Chasing Debt by telephone & email.Processing & generating reminder letters & monthly statements.Sending invoices, credit notes and statements to customer ensure these are sent to the correct customersProactively managing the timely & effective collection of customer debts and payments. Manage debt recovery.Actively putting customer accounts on stop as per customer communication.Allocation of payments in accordance with customer remittances.Providing account information to internal departments, for example customer statements, invoices and credit notes.Investigating & resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices. Liaising with CRM & New Sales (account managers) to resolve outstanding queries, including following up query status on a regular (weekly) basisResolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
