Overview

Credit Controller Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy team on a permanent basis. This job would suit an experienced Credit Controller who will be responsible for chasing outstanding invoices and play a vital role in the cashflow ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively. This reputable company has grown rapidly with sites internationally and has exciting expansion plans throughout the next few years. The successful individual will have previous Credit Control experience with good numeracy and analytical skills as well as strong Excel. You will be self-motivated and able to multi-task and constantly reappraise timescales with priorities. The candidate should have effective communication and organisational skills with the ability to achieve targets whilst maintaining accuracy. This is suited for a confident and personable individual committed to high professional standards with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and achieve cooperation. Duties will include: Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices Working to strict monthly and annually collections targets Ensure efficient month end processes Reporting and closing ledgers Utilise mainframe system and PC programs to provide management information and manage KPI detail Produce and present supplier KPI's focussing on supplier delivery Produce reports as requested by the Production Manager Attend supplier and customer meetings and other outside bodies' representatives as required Achieve maximum co-operation and promoting correct purchasing practice with other functions and departments within the organisation Identify areas for self-improvement and training requirements Observe and comply with all company requirements For more information about this role or any other Credit Controllerjobs in Hertfordshire,please contact me in confidence or visit our website www.mrkassociates.co.uk Every application will receive a response as this is the recognised working practice at MRK Associates.
