Overview

Infrastructure Project manager Location : Birmingham City Centre Salary : £30 - £40k We are looking to speak to strong Project Managers who have managed multiple projects of carrying budgets, who have specifically worked with external clients as opposed to internal clients You will be the SOLE project manager, so will have the ability to not rely on other project managers. If the client moves the date forward, then it is your role to manage that expectation. We are looking fro a strong headed project manager who has the ability to make things happen. A growing IT managed service provider who specialises within converged solutions are looking for their next superstar project manager, who will be the main point of contact between their clients and internal service delivery and IT operations teams. Projects wise: You will be expected to work in conjunction with different vendors and have managed LAN and WAN projects. Any security and firewall project experience would be amazing and of course, the crème de la crème of cloud projects would be highly advantageous. Essential Skills: You will come from an infrastructure projects background working with networks, data, voice and other converged products and systems. Use of Microsoft Projects Experience and understanding of risk management issues Experience or appreciation of ITIL standards. A project management qualification of some sort would be highly desirable. Due to the nature of the client base, you will be required to be on client sites from time to time.
