Learning Mentor September Hackney Do you have experience working with either SEMH or EBD pupils? Are you looking for the perfect school to further your career as a Learning Mentor? Do you have experience working in Primary education as a Learning Mentor/SEN Teaching Assistant? This 'Good' school are currently looking for a Learning Mentor to work 1:1 across all year groups. The pupils you will be working with have SEMH and EBD needs so previous experience working with these needs is mandatory. Working with EBD and SEMH students will mean you need to have strong behaviour management. Any form of restraint training is definitely desirable as there will be restraining involved depending on which pupils you are working with. In order to be shortlisted for this role you must have: -Strong behaviour management and confidence. -The ability to use own initiative in certain situations when they arise. -The time to commit to a full-time role 8.30am 3.30pm. -Previous experience working with SEMH & EBD in a mainstream Primary school. -Team Teach or any form of restraint training- desirable not essential. Located in the heart of Hackney this school is in an easily accessible location, close by to a number of train stations and bus stops you are minutes away from the school.
