Clerk of works 6 Month Contract Birmingham Clerk of work Building Clerk of Works 6 month contract Your new company A well established property and construction consultancy firm are recruiting for a building clerk of works job in the Birmingham area. Their reputation spans across both the public and private sectors focusing on capital builds, refurbishments, planned maintenance, building compliance and facilities management. Your new role The clerk of works job will cover major refurbishments on a listed project. What you'll need to succeed Ideally to have listed, heritage or restoration experience, but not essential. Ideally a successful person would hold an Institute of Clerk of Works and hold ICWCI or a minimum, LICWCI or similar, i.e., CIOB. Or good experience in a similar role. Have great attention to detail and the ability to write thorough comprehensive reports. Also be able to identify technical problems on site and to recommend solutions and corrective action.
