My client is a niche commercial law firm in Nottingham that has an exceptional client base. This is a Legal 500 firm that is recognised and respected by solicitors at top tier firms and they looking to appoint a commercial dispute resolution solicitor. The firm is looking for people at 3-8 years' PQE, ideally associate level, who have made an impact elsewhere in their first job post qualification but who are now looking to progress elsewhere and can bring their experience with them having cut their teeth leading or assisting on good quality litigation work. The firm is not looking to consider candidates with less experience than this for this commercial dispute resolution solicitor role. You will have the opportunity to build long-standing client relationships and you can expect to handle a general and wide-ranging client base, encompassing entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses. You will be commercial in approach and able to deal with a wide range of contentious matters including commercial contracts, breach of covenants, landlord and tenant and boundary disputes, regulatory matters, shareholder and partnership disputes property litigation, employment litigation and contentious probate. The firm is looking for people with personal injury or civil litigation backgrounds who are looking to retrain. Generally, the firm likes people who can demonstrate attention and experience of intelligent thinking of multi-layered cases and where attention to detail has to be thorough in nature. The salary will be competitive, however, the level of salary offered may vary subject to your own level of experience.
