Overview
Senior DevOps Engineer | Central London | Series B Funded | £65k - £80k We are searching for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our series B funded technology startup in central London. As relatively new Senior DevOps Engineer position, this role will join a team of 40 engineers with 5 being DevOps people. I’d like to talk to devops engineers who’ve made big contributions in terms of bringing ideas, plans and tech to the role. Note: This role is fully remote for the time being. Core skills required for this Senior DevOps Engineer role: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Math background Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST) Experience with infrastructure as Code Experience with automated testing tools (ie. Selenium, JMeter) Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce) Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, SiteScope, etc Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling Strong scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many nodes.
