SUPPORT WORKER FOR PRIVATE HOMES A specialist family run home care company is providing care and support in the community to the elderly and some dementia clients in Ferndown and Bournemouth areas. As a Support Worker you will ideally have experience with the elderly, have compassion, can do attitude, use your own initiative, provide personal care, provide support with medication, go on shopping trips, fulfil domestic duties for the elderly clients in their own homes. If you have no experience in Care but want to get into it, our client will also train you. The ideal candidate for the Support Worker role will: Be happy travelling home to home visiting clients in their own homes Must be a car driver to travel between the clients homes. Have compassion, can-do attitude and ideally experience with elderly. Good at using initiative and time management Assist and prompt and provide support with medication Go on shopping trips and carry out shopping tasks Encourage and assist with domestic duties if required Offer personal care at all levels when required Provide companionship and form trust with who you support In return, our client is offering a Support Worker: Competitive rate of pay with weekly overtime opportunity Permanent contracts on offer Regular paid training and great career progression Pool car available during shift times if required.
