Overview
Full time Support Worker, Thornbury Up to £9.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications 30 or 40 hour average available I am recruiting for a Support Worker for a residential, supported living role. The service requires a flexible person with a positive and calm attitude, and optimistic outlook. You will need to be empathetic, energetic and enjoy supporting people to reach their full potential in a residential setting. You will receive an hourly salary of between £8.60 - £9.00 an hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. Main responsibilities: · To provide a supportive and sociable environment to help individuals develop life skills. · To join in with and lead creative and outdoor activities. · To provide care and support of the highest standard by following the plans in place. · Attend off-site activities with residents, including meals out, swimming, cinema etc. · Complete and compile the relevant necessary paperwork to ensure compliance. What you will need: · Experience within a similar role or working within the health and social care sector is advantageous. · Experience with learning disabilities is desirable. · Strong organisational and clear communication skills. · Driving licence desirable due to location.
