This is an exciting opportunity for a professional Team Leader, who is committed to the Health and Social Care profession and is passionate about working with and supporting people.If you enjoy building positive relationships, if you are enthusiastic, confident and motivated with great communication and leadership skills to manage challenges, then this role is for you… Team Leader duties include: As the team leader you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day care for all who use our services and you will be expected to: · Supervise Care Assistants to deliver the best quality care and support to each service user. · Support management as required in line with current business needs · Practice and promote effective, timely communication both within and outside the company · Participate in staff development, including supervision, training and performance appraisals as required · work to devise, review and implement service user care plans to enable them to achieve positive outcomes as agreed with manager · Be a positive role model, nurture and care for all service users · Have due regard for the health and safety of self and others · Promote health and development as appropriate to the needs of the individual · Maintain a positive and informed response to service users and their behavior. · Provide and participate in leisure activities in line with care plans. · Support service users with education placements and work experience where necessary. · Maintain clear, accurate, appropriate and up-to-date records, whether electronic or in other formats · Work in accordance with the Quality Standards and co-operate with any inspection process. · Carry out duties in line with Organisational policies and procedures. · Develop and maintain appropriate working relationships with families. · Work in partnership with colleagues and other professional to meet the social, emotional, education, health and mental health needs of service Users. · Participate in, and complete reports for, Statutory Reviews and meetings concerning the service users Team Leader Benefits & Rewards: Competitive remuneration Performance related bonuses 28 days holiday per year (including Bank holiday’s) Excellent onboarding program Workplace Pension Opportunities for career progression Further Free dedicated training towards your career in care Working with a dedicated team of professionals, who are passionate about caring to high standards Free Enhanced DBS check The ideal candidate will poses: Qualifications · Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3, QCF or equivalent Experience · Providing high standards of care for young adults with challenging needs and in some cases, dual diagnosed complex mental health needs · Creating and supporting a harmonious, homely atmosphere for semi-independent service users. · Fostering professional relationships with customers and all stakeholders Knowledge · Sound understanding of good care principles · understanding of regulations and legislation within the care profession · Clear understanding of safeguarding adults at risk Skills and abilities · Strives to reach the highest standards in customer service · Excellent communicator, both verbally and non-verbally · leadership to manage and support the team · Naturally compassionate and patient with a caring disposition · Flexible and approachable with a positive attitude, even under pressure · Self-motivated and organised · Diligent and committed to providing the highest level of care · Deals with emergencies and difficult situations · Records with accuracy and detail · Work on own initiative · IT literate · Full valid driver's’ license with class 1 business insurance (desirable) As an Equal Opportunities employer, we oppose all forms of unlawful discrimination, on all grounds and we welcome applications from all backgrounds.
