Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join an established business. Permanent position This position would suit a Graduate/HND who is at the start of their career (1-2 years' experience) or an internal Sales Engineer who is looking to move up to an external Sales Engineer. THE ROLE: Preparation of quotations to meet customer specifications Ensure the correct selection of equipment in line with requirements Maintain close contact with customers, build up rapport and give excellent customer service Liaise with various engineering departments Attend site visits as required - both in the UK and abroad Provide technical and commercial solutions Negotiating by phone, email and in person Closing quotations and sales including commercial terms Networking with relevant contacts through Business clubs, Trade Associations, Trade Shows and social media. THE CANDIDATE: Previous experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Internal Sales Executive, Technical Assistant, Commercial Engineer, Account Manager or similar technical customer service role Mechanical Engineering background or/and Qualifications - minimum BTEC, HNC, HND or equivalent Good communication skills Knowledge of pumps or similar engineering product would be beneficial Previous experience from an engineering background/environment Experience of CAD (Desirable) Engineering qualification or apprenticeship (Desirable) Computer literate including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Full Clean Driving Licence This role offers the individual to progress within a progressive, forward thinking company. £20K - £30k depending on experience/qualifications uncapped commission as well as excellent company benefits To be considered for this role please click "apply now" and submit a copy of your up to date CV
