Overview
Finance Administrator - on a 6 to 12 months fixed term contract with the full prospect of a permanent position. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and thriving organisation as they implement change to see them into the future. Your position of Finance Administrator will predominantly include being the finance lead on the purchase ledger, but will require you to support across Sales ledger and payroll at particularly busy periods and holiday coverage for example. Coordinating the timely and accurate accounts payable processing including authorisation signatures are sought, coding is correct and that the invoices are matched to the orders, with VAT and discounts checked for correct calculations. Running and maintaining the payment runs including being aware of credit terms, and managing both new and existing supplier accounts. You will handle all invoice enquiries and statement reconciliations. Ideally you will be working towards full AAT qualification and be a numerate individual with the ability to spot errors quickly, ensuring the accuracy of the ledger and supporting elements. You will have experience of working to deadlines and within busy and changing organisations.
