Are you a skilled SRE/DevOps Engineer ready for your next challenge? Want to work in a fast-paced agile environment using the latest tech? A brand-new opportunity has opened for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer/SRE to join a leading gaming tech platform based in Northwest London. Your experience with Azure, troubleshooting code and supporting live services in an on-call capacity will be maximised in this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled DevOps/SRE professional bored of the daily routine to make a significant difference. Role and Responsibilities: Providing leadership and accountability for work you undertake. Act as a mentor to the mid-level engineers, working collaboratively in an agile environment. Making solid use of your problem-solving abilities when taking part in 24/7 on call support functions. Deal with customer traffic and supporting live web infrastructure. Troubleshooting web applications and load balancing. Taking the lead in researching and implementing new technologies. The ownership of all applications within your portfolio. Skills and Requirements: Experience migrating to Azure, use of Azure servers, and familiarity with Azure Functions/PaaS / SaaS. PowerShell scripting skills Awareness of the practicalities of working within a 100% web-based organisation. Working knowledge of monitoring tools, troubleshooting (e.g. ELK stack, AppInsights and Azure Monitor). Experience in building container services to host and manage new or legacy systems Building CI/CD pipelines using automation tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Git, Chef). Previous experience in 24/7 High Performance Environment. Experience dealing with customer traffic and supporting live web infrastructure. Tech Bonus Points: ARM templates to automate Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps (VSTS). Load Balancers (e.g. F5 Brocade, Kemp). .net apps and infrastructure (e.g. ELK stack, PRTG, Pingdom, CA, DataDog). Container orchestration (Kubernetes/ Docker). Azure SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Web and Application hosting environments (e.g. IIS, Windows Services or Nginx) This opportunity comes with a competitive salary and benefits package, includes flexible working with a fantastic office culture/ environment.
