Overview
Adecco are working alongside an established electronics company based in Poole, who are recruiting for a production Engineer. What will this involve? Using a combination of Aegis Factorylogix software, Word, Excel and email you will be completing the following tasks: Production and maintenance of manufacturing documentation Programming of surface mount, selective and concoat machines Responding to queries from customers and all other areas of the company Machine maintenance and associated record keeping Analyse documentation and determine production best practice Creation of jigs and tooling Analysing the efficiency of all machines and improving on a continuous basis Holding new product meetings with other departments and or customers Introduction of new equipment as necessary Obtaining support from external manufacturers when needed Any other reasonable task as requested What personal attributes are required for this role? Confident on a computer with a good knowledge of Excel (experience of an MRP system would be advantageous) Pleasant telephone manner Positive and flexible attitude to work Attention to detail is a must Keen to learn new skills A good attitude towards teamwork The ability to use your own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a superior Good literacy and numeracy skills Package: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum Full time permanent position Mon-Fri Parking on site Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
