Overview
Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll/HR Officer fixed term contract to permanent position starting immediately for a well known high profile charity in Surbiton. The role is a combination of Payroll processing and HR Process Admin. You will receive 25 days holiday pro rata, hours of work 9-5 Monday to Friday, Free Parking The HR/Payroll officer will be using Core HR system to process and deal with all payroll changes and queries for a payroll of 750 in to business units. The Role Payroll/HR Officer Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Process payroll including changes using Core HR Produce reports and short cuts in Excel Be responsible for HR Process Admin for disciplinarys, new starters leavers, DBS Checks, Jury paperwork management, Employee expenses and benefits processing. Working with the Finance team to sign off monthly payroll for 750 staff Analysing and collecting HR data Informing and processing changes to payroll including queries and disputes Understanding of Maternity Paternity SSP, P45, P60 Assist HR Business Partners with Employee Relations administration and paperwork About You HR Payroll Officer You with have experience of working within a Payroll processing environment with an understanding of Statutory Payroll procedure A basic understanding of Employment law Intermediate Excel Skills including VLookup and Pivot Tables Desirable experience of Core HR software or other integrated HR Payroll software. The ability to pick up new technology quickly and efficiently You will have strong organisational skills and accuracy and attention to detail. Confidential and diplomatic with excellent customer service skills Experience with HR and Payroll as a service is a distinct advantage.
