Overview
James Chase are working with an award-winning Home Insurance business that also sells innovative smart tech products - cameras, motion sensors, etc. that coincide with their insurance offering. They specialise in IoT technology that helps protect the home by providing customers safety from things like theft, fire, and flooding through alerts on their innovative app. They now have over 150,000 customers on board and were voted in the top 10 disruptive start-ups of 2018. Our client are now looking for a Delivery Manager that comes from a technical background to join their ever-growing workforce. Do you have demonstrable experience in software development projects? As this role will see you join our clients IoT platform team, design, build and deliver a rolling programme of platform enhancements. The ideal candidate must be able to plan all work for the platform team which could include; software development, platform maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, firmware releases and any other activity identified as necessary. Are you a strong leader? As the client would love to find someone that is able to keep the team laser-focused on delivery and able to push things forward. A previous history of dealing with stakeholders is essential, our client will require you to engage with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure requirements are captured and documented accurately. If you have a level of understanding of AWS then this would be a huge bonus.
