Overview
I am working with a leading US owned business to recruit a Finance Manager to be based out of their offices in Leicestershire. The business is an recognisable and well respected brand name with an excellent history and heritage. They operate in a fast paced and dynamic market sector and as such require a technically astute, highly adaptable and career driven Finance Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for leading on all month end close activities and the management, development and coaching of your team, providing a clear strategy, direction and succession planning. My client is commutable from most areas of Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire and is easily accessible from the M1. You will be responsible for: The timely and accurate delivery of all month end reporting and close processes, ensuring adherence to SOX controls and US GAAP standards. Taking a lead on all process improvement/reengineering, leveraging the reporting systems to make efficiency gains. Mentoring, development and management of a team of 4 accountants. Review all reconciliations made by the team Work closely with colleagues across the European SSC, Group and Corporate Functions to provide timely and accurate reporting upon which key business decisions will be made. Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards. To be considered for this role you will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of financial reporting within large multinational corporations, previous experience with US GAAP/SOX would be highly advantageous.
