Job Summary Finance Director for the Employment, Skills and Disability Division of MAXIMUS UK. Working alongside the PD and Leadership Team of ESD. Provide high quality finance and commercial support to the business to improve decision making and profitability of the business. Financial Management of the MAXIMUS UK Central Services Division. Key Responsibilities Provide first class financial and commercial support to the Programme Director of ESD. Responsible for financial management across the division - management and group reporting, accounting, forecasting and planning and transaction processing (AP, AR and cash management). Audit management and tax (with support from UK FD / central support). Manage the cost base (accounting, forecasting and planning) for the MAXIMUS UK Central Services division (circa 300 people). Provide business partnering support to Central Services cost centre owners (HR, IT, Finance etcetc) Provide cost leadership in the ESD division. Identify and implement efficiency programmes / cost synergies. Manage process improvement, systems integration and efficiency across the finance team. Work closely with "financestakeholders" across MAXIMUS (UK FD / VP, SVP Finance etc). Open and timely communication on key financial risks / issues. When required work with senior finance and commercial stakeholders at key customers (eg DWP). Provide decision support to the business - financial analysis to support investment decisions and development of strategy. Lead new pricing process for the ESD division. Develop and support new business pricing processes, models and strategies. Custodian of governance for the organisation including audit requirements, adherence to internal policies (eg Authority Matrix, BRC) and statutory and legal requirements (company law and tax). Provide leadership to a team of finance professionals / analysts. Experience Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Accounting / Finance qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA. First class excel financial modelling skills. Highly numerate. Strong analytical skills. Ability to explain complex models and concepts in a simple, concise manner. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organisation effectively Solid influencing skills. Great team player. Sound commercial acumen Desirable - experience in business services, outsourcing or government services.
