Overview
Are you an Assistant Accountant with Internal Audit experience? REED Accountancy are working with a family-run business who're looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. The company are looking for somebody who can provide a fresh perspective on their processes. Main duties: Internal audit and ad-hoc projects as the Group Financial Accountant instructs. Identify, asses and conduct investigations into areas of risk. Assist in producing and analysing data from the accounting software and monthly management accounts. Producing analysis of performance across the sites including KPI’s and trends for monthly accounts reviews. Prepare reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements. Assist Management Accountant in preparing accounts at month end and creating monthly reconciliations. Assist Group Financial Accountant with accounts queries from external suppliers/compliance tasks. You will be required to travel to their sites through-out the north-east, so it's essential that you have a clean and valid UK drivers license. In return, you will receive a company car as part of the package.
