Project Manager - Events

Davidson Consulting ,
Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,000 per annum

Overview

My client is a leading combined events and exhibitions company who design, manage and deliver a wide range of events and exhibition services across the UK and Europe and they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their events team. You will be part of the small team of Project Managers who handle every aspect of a project from the initial planning with the sales department to the final completion and handover to the client at an event. You will work closely with other departments as well as with 3rd party suppliers, ensuring that your clients needs and expectations are delivered on time and to budget, providing solutions and deliverables to ensure the clients are delighted with the service and products provided. Previous experience within the events and exhibitions sector will be necessary, as you will be fully involved in the projects from inception to completion. Your organisational skills and decision making skills will be used and you will need a calm, confident and positive outlook, as you and the team will be ensuring you have the right people and equipment in the right place at the right time. You will also need a working knowledge of H&S compliance and the documentation required within this sector. Naturally, you will possess a customer centric focus, as delivering and exceeding client expectations is the norm, as well as the ability for creating viable and workable solutions to ensure delivery as per the clients brief, adapting to and overcoming objections to reach positive conclusions for all involved. This is a full time position and my client operates a flexible approach to working time and is happy to discuss individual working requirements. This is an office based role but frequent travel to and from events in the UK and occasionally Europe will be an integral part of the role, with the need to stay away overnight and weekends as and when required. Time off in lieu is given as my client believes in finding the right balance for both the company and the individual. A fantastic salary is available for the right person, together with a generous benefits package.
