Reinsurance Technician, City, handling XOL and Treaty risks working for a Lloyd's Broker, salary up to £55K Your new company Your new job working as a Reinsurance Technician, will be working for a privately owned established and growing Lloyd's Broker, based in the heart of the City. Your new Brokers pride themselves on providing bespoke solutions in the following lines of business: Property, Cyber, Professional and Financial Lines, Marine Stock Throughput, Terrorism, and Active Assailant, with additional product offerings. Due to expansion a permanent job for a Reinsurance Technician handling complex RI, XOL, Treaty and Fac risks has arisen. Your new role Your new job working as a Senior Reinsurance Broker Support Technician where your daily duties will include overseeing the Creation of client MRC documentation, ensuring all documentation is accurate and appropriate and be responsible for Validation and accurate processing of Proportional Treaties, Excess of Loss and Facultative accounts - Deposits Premiums, FDO's, Premium Adjustments, Profit Commission Adjustments, Quarterly and Monthly Declaration Accounts and Third-Party Binders. Other duties will include; Production of Premium Bordereau and Premium Endorsements for Lineslips, Production of accurate settlement documentation, premium closings, premium endorsements, treaty statements and obtaining client or market agreement to the transaction, as necessary and Monitor PPW's PPC's & NCB's. You will also; Effect settlement of cleared and matched funds to Bureaux Underwriters, 'de-linked' or cash - via XCS / IMR / PBS. Arrange settlement of funds to Non-Bureau markets and Monitor signing messages from Bureaux (Lloyd's/Institute of London Underwriters (ILU) and London Insurance and Reinsurance Market Association (LIRMA)). As a Senior Reinsurance Technician, you will Respond to queries raised by the Client, Underwriters, Xchanging and internal stakeholders and support colleagues in all other departments. You will be responsible for handling cross-class Marine and Non-Marine Reinsurance risks, emanating on an international basis. Risks are a mixture of XOL, Non-Proportional Treaties, Proportional Treaties with exposure to Facultative risks. What you'll need to succeed Your previous experience of working in a Lloyd's/London Market technical role, including the handling of complex RI risks is essential. You will ideally have a very strong and profound knowledge of; XOL, Non-Proportional Treaties, Proportional Treaties and Facultative risks. You need to be technically astute and be confident in your ability to liaise and managing client needs - be accurate and timely when it comes to producing all technical documentation. You will be required to have strong computer skills (ideally Sequel, Brokersure or Global XB) and aptitude to learn bespoke packages, attention and have a good eye for detail are essential. Ideally you will have experience of working as a Senior RI tech at a Lloyd's Brokers within a Technical facet and understand how to process all related RI Technical documentation.
