Overview
An exciting opening has arisen for a 12 month secondment in one of our corporate clients. As a Product Manager you will play a pivotal part in developing, reviewing and managing new and existing products. This role will give the successful individual a real opportunity to be part of a dynamic team which is working on constantly business critical projects. Responsible for the daily management of specific products. Developing framework for and conducting Product Reviews in collaboration with other departments (and according to FCA standards). Presenting the results to Executive Committee. Support verification of Master Hire Agreements and corresponding product features. Support development of mobility products (and their sales strategy). Identify new products through customer needs analysis - Insights radar, customer meetings, and customer forum Work closely with the product and sales teams to identifying opportunities to develop existing products and ensure customer requirements are considered throughout product development Keeping up to date with new products, innovation and technology within the automotive and fleet industry. Implementation of new product ideas (e.g. Insurance, Telematics). Create a business case for any development work, involving development scope, investment costs, and expected return on investment, target market and support development of full marketing plan Qualifications and Experience Good standard of education Knowledge of the fleet/car rental or finance industry and associated leasing products Project management Attention to detail and comfortable analysing complex documentation (e.g. legal agreements, process documents, FCA regulation) Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team External supplier management experience will be considered as advantage Keen interest in new technology, innovation and mobility solutions Need to have experience with this in the past, as well as setting guidelines. Comfortable with FCA and financial guidelines and regulatory obligations Presenting and preparing documents Lots of relationship building internally Comfortable working in a challenging environment High visibility to exec and board members Must be ambitious Embrace change and challenges Exp in rental industry, process managements, product reviews - would be really keen to see those people.
