Overview
Japanese Speaking Senior Accountant Insite are exclusively supporting a boutique firm specialised in serving Japanese corporate clients based in the City of London. Looking for a qualified ACCA/ACA to join our practice as a Senior Accountant. Roles and responsibilities of the Japanese Speaking Senior Accountant: Good knowledge in UK GAAP and double bookkeeping, with a minimum of three years' experience in management accounting or audit Strong IT skills Proficient in Excel (Vlookup etc.) and accounting software such as Sage 50 and Xero Sound English writing and editing skills Qualified as an ACCA or ACA Experienced in management accounting Working knowledge of UK VAT and income tax Effective hands-on supervision and team-building of junior clerks Planning and project management skills Client focused and great communicator Entrepreneurial flare You will work on a portfolio of Japanese corporate clients and supervise Japanese speaking assistants with a hands on approach. You will work on management accounting and financial accounting initially, and then expand your territory of work to VAT, corporation tax and income tax. My client specialises in inward investment work from Japan, it is to your advantage if you can demonstrate an interest in Japanese culture or speak some Japanese. (If you have an advanced level of Japanese and if appropriate to your circumstances, we may consider sponsoring you to work in the UK.) Salary: £37,000 - 50,000.00 /year
