Senior Network Engineer - 12 month Fixed Term - Preston, Lancashire - up to £36,000 My client are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team on an initial 12 month contract (possibility of going full time). Their infrastructure is state of the art, cutting edge which is very exciting to work with and learn from. There is a huge project upcoming that you will be incremental on. Role & Responsibilities Manage and Maintain 3 small in house data centres Manage and Maintain a bespoke network across a huge site Technical Skill-Sets HP Edge Switches: Configure, Cable it up Cisco Wireless Maintenance of networks / BAU Installation of new hardware Remote Access Configuring switches Firewalls: Check Point/ Juniper Cisco Switches (6509) - dealing with core resilience Network Monitoring (Nagios) Network Disaster Recovery Benefits 42 days holiday (pr rata) Government Pension Scheme Flexible working hours This is the brief description of the role, for the full information, simply apply to the role and I will call you to discuss.
