Overview
This role, Senior Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary role, paid hourly), is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is experienced to hit the ground running and assist clearing a backlog. Our client are looking for someone to start ASAP meaning candidates applying must be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice as a maximum. The role will be for a minimum of 4 months. Client Details Our client are a property company based in the City of London who have seen a period of growth over the last 6 months. There has therefore been an increased level of work within finance and a small backlog has built up within accounts payable. They are therefore looking for a candidate with experience in payables to come in and assist clearing the backlog. Candidates must be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice as a maximum. Description This role, Senior Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary role, paid hourly) , involves - Matching, batching and coding invoices - Dealing with invoices that have been incorrectly matched and therefore need changing - Understanding which sites have the highest level of backlog and focusing on those - Networking with site managers regarding outstanding fees - Understanding discrepancies and resolving them - Bank reconciliations - Supplier statement reconciliations - Processing the payment run weekly - Accountancy focused - Financial services backed - Paid hourly - Start ASAP - Based in the City of London Profile The candidate we are looking for, Senior Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary role, paid hourly) , must: 1. Have at least one years worth of payables experience 2. Be immediately available or on a maximum of 1 weeks notice 3.
