The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing world class manufacturing systems, increasing productivity, reducing costs to meet customer expectations. Responsibilities: Ensure Production Operation meets key operational metrics in serving customers and driving area profitability Ensure all operational projects and timescales are met Take ownership of the manufacturing performance including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Engagement. Support the Plant Manager with accurate KPI reporting whilst standardising processes and systems across operations Responsible for the leadership, development, performance management and motivation of the manufacturing team to achieve Production targets Ensure that all workforce and production planning / analysis are completed to optimise manufacturing performance Manage interface with all support functions and departments to optimise manufacturing performance Person Specification: Degree in either a business, technical or management discipline would be preferred Proven experience in a similar manufacturing management role in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of leading a large multi-disciplined team Working knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques Proven track record of effective continuous improvement
