Overview

The Company: Our client is a licenced insolvency boutique practice, which provides business advice on company rescue, restructuring and insolvency. They have lots of knowledge and experience within the industry and offices around the UK. The Job: Due to growth, our client is seeking a Senior Insolvency Administrator, you will be working with an experienced, dynamic and knowledgeable team, working on mainly corporate insolvencies and assisting other members of staff with their work within the department. This is a good opportunity for a candidate who is looking to further their career in this industry. You will be required to ensure all compliance aspects are adhered to, that case files are accurate and up to date and that you inform the Partners as to the progress of each appointment in your portfolio. Whilst also assisting with/ delegating work to more junior members of the team. As a Senior Insolvency Administrator, you will be working with a dynamic and knowledgeable team and you should be able to manage and maintain the administration of a large and mixed case portfolio consisting of Administrations, CVL’s, MVL’s, Compulsory Liquidations, Bankruptcies, and limited CVA’s and IVA’s. Some of your responsibilities will include: Progressing cases through from cradle to grave; Managing own caseload on a daily basis to ensure statutory deadline are met whilst progressing other cases on a timely manner Attending site visits when required Frequently using IPS and keeping IPS up to date, in particular diary lines and time recording; Completing pre and post-appointment tasks associated with insolvency procedures Reviewing and preparing statutory reports (annual, progress and final), dealing with creditors meetings, other meetings, undertaking case reviews and trouble-shooting on day-to-day matters as they arise Carry out investigations of cases and identify antecedent transactions and claims Liaising with all clients, creditors, stakeholders, staff and other third parties in a polite and professional manner Instructing agents regarding asset disposals, monitoring debt collections and all other realisations as required Agreeing creditor claims and dealing with employee queries and associated documentation. Payment of dividends to creditors in a compliant and efficient manner, with regard to statutory deadlines Ensuring that cases are progressed from commencement to closure in a commercial and balanced manner, whilst being fully compliant with statutory obligations Assisting junior members of staff with their case work Marketing – assisting with practice development The Person: For this role, it’s essential you have previous insolvency administration experience. This role is a mix of both corporate and personal and experience of both would be fantastic. It’s also important that you have used IPS previously. A minimum of 3 years experience Able to demonstrate ability to administer a caseload with minimal supervision Professional qualification such as CPI preferred but not essential A working knowledge of Microsoft products and IPS Excellent report-writing and communication skills Good time management skills and attention to detail The Benefits: Great team environment, 20 day’s holiday plus bank holidays, Clifton Parking Permit.
