Overview
Investment Manager opportunity within a successful mid-market Private Equity Investor offering excellent rewards and the opportunity to have a real impact on high-growth businesses. THE COMPANY An established Private Equity Investment firm with a successful track record of investing up to c.£60m into innovative, entrepreneurial businesses at the cutting edge of their respective sectors. Over the past 20 years they have delivered significant returns to owners and investors across TMT, Business Services, Healthcare / Pharma and Retail sectors. THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity now exists for an Investment Banking or M&A / Corporate Finance Professional with several years transaction experience to join the team as an Investment Manager and have an impact on high-growth businesses. You will have the opportunity to work on investments across a wide range of sectors and be involved in a significant number of transactions, working with entrepreneurs both pre and post investment to support them in realising their ambitions and delivering investment returns. Responsibilities as an Investment Manager will include: Origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities Supporting the delivery of transactions including evaluation, due diligence, preparing investment proposals and financial models, deal execution etc Building strong relationships with Management Teams, Advisors and Introducers, Executive and Non-Executive Directors As an Investment Manager you will be fully involved in Investments and Portfolio businesses from initial investment stage throughout growth and buy & build strategy and exit. THE PERSON You will be an ambitious Finance Professional able to demonstrate: A background in Top Tier Accountancy Practice, Investment Bank / M&A Advisory Firm or Strategy Consulting business (c.3 - 4 years) Previous experience within Corporate Finance (Transaction Services or M&A / Lead Advisory) Experience of a full deal process In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and bonus scheme and participation in the funds carry scheme on new investments.
