Job Title : Service Desk Team Lead Industry: Healthcare Start date: ASAP Pay rate: £180 - 230 per day Location: London Main Responsibilities: Manage the Service Desk and a team of four providing 1st and 2nd line technical support and take overall responsibility for incidents and requests Act as a further escalation point for unresolved or escalated issues Interrogation of the Service Desk ticketing system throughout the day to provide effective responses and resolutions to queries or issues. Ensuring that raised tickets are responded to within SLA timescales. Responding to calls or e-mails on the service desk Carry out installations and configurations of end user workstation hardware, software, networked peripheral devices, cabling, and networking hardware and software products. Support end user workstation hardware, software, networked peripheral devices, cabling, and networking hardware and software products by testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting to determine source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.) Respond to emergency network outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans Collaborate with all the IT Operations departments when required to ensure business objectives are met Participate in 24/7 on-call rota and provide technical support and resolutions Required Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritise work under pressure and strict deadlines Ability to communicate and advise technical/service information to different levels Good general overall technical understanding of new technologies General Support and Operations Good understanding of PC and MAC hardware, Microsoft operating systems and networking If this sounds like the ideal role for you, please send through your up to date CV.
