Social Science Teacher TLR / Social Science NQT | Supportive School | Barnet A supportive Secondary School, in the heart of Barnet are looking for a Social Science Teacher / Social Science NQT TLR on a permanent basis, for September 2020. The Head Teacher understands that Social Science can include several subjects, so if you have experience teaching ANY of the following, then please apply now: Sociology, Psychology, Business Studies and RE. The Head Teacher has opened this position to both experienced Social Science Teachers and Newly Qualified Social Science Teachers (NQTs). Experienced Social Science Teachers have the option to take on additional responsibility ranging from, Key Stage Coordinator and possible 2iC. Newly Qualified Social Science Teachers (NQTs) will be enrolled onto their supportive NQT induction, 1:1 SLT Mentor, In & Out of house training, fellow peers support, aims & objectives and termly progress tracking lesson observations. Additional TLRs available: Key Stage Coordinator & 2iC Supportive NQT induction: 1:1 SLT Mentor, In & Out of house training, fellow peers support, aims & objectives and lesson observations Teaching across KS3,4 & potentially KS5 (KS5 depending on experience) Delivering engaging and creative lessons – Inspiring young minds throughout September 2020 start – Permanent Contract – Full Time MPS1-UPS3 - £28,355 - £44,541 TLR (Size depending on experience) Located in the Borough of Barnet - North London PERSON SPECIFICATION Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining You must have experience teaching ANY of the following: Sociology, Psychology, Business Studies and RE.
