Overview
Pay: MPS Start Date: September 2020 A full time teacher to join our Key Stage One team. We are keen to appoint someone who has some experience in the Foundation Stage and is keen and able to maintain good and outstanding provision. The successful candidate will be willing to lead a subject and also willing to support extracurricular activities dependant on where they are in their career. The school is committed to the safeguarding and well being of its pupils. We are a one form entry school with a privately run nursery on site. Our school motto is "Learn to Love Learning to live life better" In July 2018 Ofsted judged the school to be good in every area. It has impressive facilities and grounds, a swimming pool, two playgrounds, a forest school area and a curriculum that fosters outdoor learning. In April 2019 Hornbeam became a founding Academy member of the Deal Education Alliance for Learning Trust (DEALT) which is a newly formed MAT of seven local primary schools within Deal and the surrounding villages. This unique and exciting collaboration of local schools are working together to ensure the very best outcomes for all pupils and their families within our town. Whilst your post will be at Hornbeam, your contract will be with DEALT. In the local area there is a country park, the beach and a community that supports the school in any way it can. We work in a very effective collaboration with other primary schools in the Deal Learning Alliance.
