GENERAL MANAGER – RETIREMENT VILLAGE NEAR WOKING Evolve are privileged to be working with a group of upmarket retirement villages in finding an individual to fill the post of General Manager . If you have a background as General Manager in either a bespoke hotel or holiday resort then you are the sort of person we would love to talk to, as we are looking for an individual that will truly care about providing the very best service for the residents. The development itself is relatively small with apartment living and a vibrant residents area offering a range of facilities such as a private lounge, movie room, restaurant, gym etc. Key characteristics of the role of the successful General Manager Customer focused and an ability to work with a mature client base Experience in leading, motivating an inspiring a team Representing the company, both within the village community and in a wider environment An ability to deal with fast changing situations quickly and efficiently Just as in a hotel, a large proportion of your responsibilities will be in operations and sales. A good knowledge of finance, health and safety and human resources management will also be required.
