The Role Working with an established electro-mechanical department, you will draft and prosecute for a variety of small, medium and large clients to include SME's, university spin-outs and multinational companies Using your business development skills, you will be able to grow your own portfolio of clients as well as taking advantage of an existing body of pioneering caseloads This position will allow you to offer contentious support before both the EPO and UKIPO, so the opportunity to expand your IP knowledge is readily available Lending your experience to assist part-qualified attorneys as and when required The Person UK or European Qualified Patent Attorney (CPA or EPA) - Finalist level candidates also considered. A background in a relevant subject; Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science. You should enjoy exploiting business development and networking opportunities, having previously worked with a range of UK and international clients in your current role A confident communicator who is adept at liaising, advising and nurturing a range of different stakeholders With established drafting and prosecution skills gained from either private practice or industry, you will have proven core attorney skills to add value to the existing team Applications are also welcomed from existing Salaried Partners who have portability of their own clients too.
