Overview
Our client is a small family run business that manufactures and installs a wide range of furniture. The work is very much a manual and physical job with lifting of large, heavy and sometimes awkward items so it is important that you are physically fit to undertake the work. The work will be very diverse, installing a wide variety of cabinetry and joinery items. You would be working with a wide range of materials including real wood veneers, solid timber, MDF, laminate, melamine boards, glass, stone, metalwork, Corian and other solid surface materials. You will have the following Operation of a panel saw, spindle moulder, planer and thicknesser Use of hand held routers, jigsaws, planers, saws, and general hand held power tools Experience in veneering is preferred but not essential Experience in laminating Operation of drum sanders and edge banders is preferred but not essential Spraying experience is not required but if the candidate has spraying experience this will be looked upon positively Reading of workshop drawings Construction of cabinetry and joinery items Driving license Working Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm with possibility of overtime on Saturday mornings. Paying £29K - £35K
