Accountancy Practice - Payroll Professional - Widnes Your new firm You will be working with a highly regarded firm of chartered accountants who as a general practice offer a range of services to their clients, inclusive of Accounting, Tax and Payroll to name but a few. This firm have an excellent reputation in the local area and serve clients across the Merseyside and the wider North West region. Your new role As a Payroll Specialist you will be working as part of a team responsible for the end to end processing of a portfolio of clients Payroll. You will be working with limited companies, sole traders and partnerships and will work on both PAYE and CIS schemes. Your role will see you upload new starters, process P45s and P60s at year end as well as assist in any reporting that is needed to be done. You will be required to process statutory payments as well as pensions and be able to deal with queries that arise from both clients and HMRC. What you'll need to succeed In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously and will ideally have used Sage Payroll. You will be able to work to multiple deadlines and ensure the work you do is undertaken with the highest attention to detail. Communication skills will need to be exceptional as the firm are currently experiencing a high number of queries from clients given the current Covid -19 changes and so you must be able to handle these in a professional manner.
