They are now looking to appoint a product manager to play a critical role in providing technical guidance and support to drive the development of new and innovative products This would suit someone with a formal electronics/engineering degree and experience of product management or product development management of electronics based products. Job Role will involve Technical support for sales teams in more complex sales where core technology and third party peripheral integration is required, including direct liaison with customers worldwide. Creating and specifying new product packages that leverage core technologies and products to create product solutions Proposing and specifying new products and working alongside the development team to realise the product. Maintaining and managing all product technical information such as data sheets and manuals. Skills and Experience Be educated to degree level in an electronic engineering or related discipline and have a minimum of five years previous industry experience involving the development and/or project/product management of new products. Have experience of developing detailed product specifications, ideally using Agile methodologies to create ‘user stories’ which focus on the user experience of the product. Be experienced in defining and developing products in the consumer electronics space where an excellent user experience through product interfaces is critical to success. Be able to produce high quality end user facing documentation, training and technical marketing literature such as user manuals and datasheets. Be able to produce and present clear and compelling proposals for new products and features to business stakeholders.
