Overview

IPS Finance are working on a newly created role within a national firm in the centre of Leeds who are looking for a Compliance Officer within their Client Money team. The role will report into the COFA and will involve the day to day monitoring of compliance with SRA accounts rules and internal controls. Some duties will involve; Review and audit of client files and ledgers, ensuring residual client account balances are dealt with in accordance with SRA accounts rules Manage and collate compliance data in order to produce report(s) for Finance Manager / Head of Finance / COFA as and when required Assist with audits, internal and external, including accountants report Sharing knowledge and technical expertise to ensure regulatory compliance with SRA accounts rules to prevent any breach Ensure use of systems functionality is maximised and system controls are active and monitored Provide support to all cashiering functions Ideally you will have experience with SRA Accounts Rules and looking for your next step into a compliance role within a rewarding firm offering further professional development.
