London (Old Street) | Senior Front End Developer | Up to £70,000 and 2 days remote If you're looking for a role where you build software that has a positive effect on the planet, as well as giving you the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, this Senior Front End Developer role will interest you The Company They are an early stage 20 person startup, who are building the systems and platforms required for net zero carbon energy - it's a huge challenge but they've been government backed, are about to go through a Series A funding round and have an incredible team onsite, so they are confident about creating a smarter energy grid for the future. The Senior Front End Developer Role You will be working on a greenfield project to build a new platform - their software stack is comprised of a single-page app and a backend running on a serverless infrastructure (using Python, Django, Vue.js, PostreSQL and AWS) As you learn the ropes, you'll be presented with lots of opportunities to dig into the detail and contribute to technology strategy. As this is a Senior Front End Developer role, you'll get the chance to mentor and train others, and whilst it's not a line management position, if you'd like to progress to that stage in the future here, you certainly can. They are looking for 3 years' experience writing client side JavaScript - Vue.js would be ideal, but if you know React/latest versions of Angular, that's fine too. Experience with PWA's is also highly desirable - but again, not a necessity. It's more important that you can, and want to, mentor.
