Could this be you? About the Role: As a Support Worker at Gresham Court, you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. Whilst no two days are the same typically, you'll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support. We are able to offer flexible contracts including full time, part time, bank or fixed term contracts to cover a variety of shifts including earlies, lates, sleep in's and waking nights. Due to the needs of the people we will be supporting, i t would be great if you've previously worked as a Support Worker with experience of learning disabilities and/or mental health needs.
