Overview
Our client, a reputable public sector orgnisation based in Oxfordshire are currently looking to recruit a IT Procurement Business Partner with recent success in developing IT procurement strategies in both public and private sector organisations. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring cross functional category strategies are developed in line with relevant business areas, delivering value for money and achieving the strategic aims of the orgnisation, as well as ensuring the value of the IT procurement function. This position provides the opportunity to help develop and structure a dedicated team in it’s early stages of transformation and we are looking for a candidate that is interested in upskilling junior team members, implementing structure and developing a BAU process that is led by continuous improvement. To be considered for this role you must be able to evidence: Proven track record of operating within a similar, regulated environment Preferably some experience in working in commercially driven, private sector environments Experience in delivering cost savings through effective category management Proven success in both internal and external networking Proven ability to lead on tender evaluation and processes Proven experience of procurement leadership success in a highly regulated environment. Recent success in leading, managing and motivating a small team Proven success in managing defined portfolio spend (circa £30M - £50M) Proven experience in developing strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders Quality Assurance of procurement managers work If successful we are able to offer a highly competitive annual salary of between £50 - £70k depending on skills and experience and you will also be entitled to a wealth of benefits including a competitive pension & holiday scheme. Ideally, we are looking for candidates to start around early April and would consider candidates open to a contract to permanent work (contractor rate £400 per day, inside IR35).
