Wastewater Modeller

RPS Water are looking for a Wastewater Modeller to join our Derby or Sheffield Water offices This role will see you working within a team to provide Technical Support on Wastewater projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients. This is an exciting and evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication and team work to help us meet our clients’ needs. Main Responsibilities: Support on hydraulic modelling studies using Infoworks ICM/InfoNet, Sewerage Management Planning, Network Modelling as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis / asset management Provide technical capability on wastewater projects as part of a project team Assist the Senior Engineer in the management/co-ordination of projects, or act as Project Manager on smaller projects Provide guidance to Graduate and Technicians working on the same projects Attend and contribute to project meetings Feasibility studies/options development: Asset Performance Assessments/Reviews, Report preparation/drawings, Scheduling of work for sub-contractors and third-party survey teams, and liaison during the projects Developing and maintaining good client relationships at all levels Skills, Experience & Qualifications required: Technical experience in Wastewater modelling using Infoworks ICM/InfoNet, Sewerage Management Planning and other wastewater asset management, data management and analytics Broad understanding of water and wastewater projects within the UK Water Industry Experience of one or more areas of UK Water/Wastewater industry: Network modelling/Drainage Area Planning, Asset Performance Assessments / Reviews, Feasibility Studies/Options Development Preferably Degree qualified.
