Overview

RPS Water has a team of Engineers and Data Analysts, who provide Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Network Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. Within the RPS Water Derby office a Team Leader has become available. This role will focus on the provision of technical leadership and guidance to a team, in the delivery of large complex wastewater projects. Whilst ensuring accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients. This is an exciting and evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication and team work to help us meet our clients’ needs. Main Responsibilities Leading asset management projects such as (but not limited to) Sewerage Management Planning and the production of network models using InfoWorks ICM and other projects requiring detailed technical analysis Financial management of projects to ensure profitable delivery Lead a delivery team for a range of Wastewater projects to include: - Technical guidance / leadership - Continual professional development - Control of staff resources within the business to ensure project delivery - Identify staffing requirements and take an active role in the recruitment of new staff in order to develop the team Management of sub-contractors to include: - Supplier selection - Performance appraisal - Invoice approval Client relationship & delivery: - ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and quality level expected - Client liaison - Report preparation - Proposals within current frameworks and the development of additional clients Skills, experience & Qualifications Deep technical expertise in - Wastewater modelling using Infoworks ICM/InfoNet - Sewerage Management Planning and other wastewater asset management - Data management and analytics Able to manage and develop a team of people, delivering against targets and performance plans Prior experience of delivery sizeable projects to time, cost and quality to a variety of clients Preferably Degree qualified, post graduate qualifications an advantage Hold a professional level Membership of a relevant institution Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills Competent user of the complete Microsoft package Happy to complete travel within role where required What we offer you We will provide you with a flexible, friendly and creative environment to develop your skills and challenge yourself.We support our people to innovate, collaborate and build meaningful careers.
