Overview
Pratap Partnership is working with a large logistics company in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant. The Job Reporting to a Finance Manager, the individual will be expected to provide efficient financial support to the business to ensure all key performance indicators are achieved whilst meeting all customer expectations. Produce weekly accounts and explain variances with meaningful commentary Support Finance Manager with budgets and forecasts Managing and developing 1 staff member Support pricing and tender processes Ensure accruals and prepayments are accurate Balance ledgers each week and ensure all risks and opportunities are flagged to Finance Manager Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations Support Operators with their understanding of the operation cost drivers. Embed meaningful management information reporting. Ensure Retail Weeklies forecasting is reported and accurate Report and monitor key performance indicators. Work with Credit control to ensure invoicing is accurate and timely Ensure effective communication throughout the operation. Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders Complete all customer requests in a timely manner The Person Qualified/Part Qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with experience in a similar role Customer focused with drive to achieve. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong spreadsheets skills Thorough, robust ledger knowledge. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
