Sintec are seeking an experienced and efficient Accountant - you must be fluent in Russian for this role. ACCA full or part qualified (minimum of 6 exams passed) Hours: This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Location: North West London NW10. Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Start date: ASAP About us Sintec is a global electrical and mechanical company. With main offices in the USA, Latvia and London we are a leading company in providing installation services. Job Overview This is a key position within the organisation. The role is predominantly working in the Finance team, so previous experience of 3 years in bookkeeping or accounting would be ideal. Excellent knowledge/experience of QuickBooks would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will report into the Finance Manager. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Finance Manager to: Take full responsibility and oversee SINTEC group's accounting activities, with day-to-day leadership and management of the team. This extends to each business unit of the group. Work closely with the Executive Team to align accounting practices and processes with strategic direction of the group. Work collaboratively with all group colleagues to ensure opportunities to share resources, and experience. Maintain high quality standards of accounting practice, and departmental documentation. Ensure compliance to all existing policies. Provide timely and reliable reports to the Executive Team. Promote and practice efficient internal and external communication. Develop talents and people to ensure we have the right team. Perform regular performance reviews. Develop performance culture, which drives results daily. Daily guide, instruct and supervise direct reports. Communicate plans, objectives and results to the team. Maintain staff discipline in line with internal processes. Monitor business travel. Maintain close and effective work relationship with all members of the exec team. Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Review all inter-company transactions and advise exec team of discrepancies. Reconcile balance sheet accounts. Conduct regular ledger maintenance. Fully manage the company's payroll. Personal Attributes: - Russian language skills are essential for this role - Ability to use initiative and be proactive - Excellent attention to detail - Able to prioritise your time to focus and manage expectations of others - Happy to travel to some offsites (once or twice per year) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Highly competent in use of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office - Excellent Time Management skills - Ability to work alone and take initiative - Drive to grow with the business and continue learning Experience: Accountant: 3 years (Preferred) Bookkeeper: 1 year (Preferred) What’s on offer?
