Fostering Manager-Fostering Agency

Are you a hard working Fostering manager or Registered manager social keen to progress your career? Our Client is a private fostering organisation. looking for someone to assist with the setup, development and management of a new Independent Fostering Agency. The role will suit a motivated Manager looking for a change and who enjoys a 'hands on approach' to staff, delivery and growth of a service. The successful applicant will need to have experience in managing and developing a Fostering Service. To be considered, you will need to have significant experience of being a successful and qualified Fostering Manager ideally within another independent Fostering Agency. You will have extensive knowledge of Fostering legislation, procedure and compliance. As this is a new fostering agency the manager will be involved in developing the service. Initially we will employ a Registered Manager, Responsible Individual and recruit an agency decision maker, panel team and an administrator. We also plan to appoint a supervising social worker. The working week will be Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Due to the nature of role, the tasks and responsibilities in many circumstances are unpredictable and varied. All staff are therefore expected to work in a flexible way when occasions arise. In return we will have flexible working arrangements to support the candidate in their work life balance, including lieu procedures. This would be discussed with the manager in order to manage individual need. Benefits The successful candidate will receive a salary of between £40,000 -£50,000 per annum depending on experience Excellent performance related bonuses should targets be reached, Full time position, Permanent contract, Ongoing training and development, Company laptop and phone, lieu procedures will be discussed , Mileage will be reimbursed, We are committed to offering a positive working culture for all our employees.
