Overview
Change Public Practice are working in partnership with a leading Big 4 firm who due to the expansion of their Financial Services client portfolio, are keen to appoint a Financial Services Audit Senior or Assistant Manager to their team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity, to get involved in working with a variety of Financial Services clients. This firm are looking to engage with individuals who possess a strong technical knowledge within Audit and the FS sector. Ideally you will have good exposure to Regulatory Reporting, Client Money/Assets Audits, AAF reporting and Regulatory Capital Calculation, although those with strong local commerical client exposure with an appetite to move into FS will also be considered. Duties within this role: · Manage Audit engagements from start through to completion whilst working closely with Partners · Approve budgets and fees where appropriate · Liaise with senior stakeholders within the firms network, as well as clients in order to build & enhance relationships · Review, and ensure the technical correctness if Audit work completed · Coach, train and mentor staff & teams accordingly Skills and attributes required: · CA/ACCA Qualification, or equivalent · Current or previous Audit supervision experience or experienced Assistant Manager level · Strong technical and industry sector experience · Good leadership skills
