We are looking for a talented Junior QA Tester to join our Fraud Error and Debt Function's Debt Management team who would work along with the development teams to provide quality assurance through the testing of functional and not non-functional requirements. The team is moving from old debt management system to new system which will involve working on different products including investigation of fraud errors ,debt recovery, interventions and identifying overpayments through a self-service portal which will directly impact people's lives by helping them reduce hardship by repay debt and rebuild finances. Duties. Work. Projects. Digital Debt Management development team supports the Debt operations by maintaining/supporting Debt applications to recover debts. As a Junior QA Tester , you will be testing functionalities of Debt Manager (FICO Version 6 or 11) and its associated components including Citizen Facing Portal. You'll collaborate with the DMS (Debt Management System) and the DMS transformation delivery teams to determine the testability of functional and non-functional requirements. You'll work within the overall Software Development Lifecycle Processes (Waterfall and Agile), and will gain both business and domain knowledge. You will have an understanding of both functional and non-functional testing techniques and will be aware of tooling that is available for test automation. You will also have an awareness of Test principles that would align with the testing strategy which could include manual testing at times. What skills and experience are we looking for? The roles and responsibilities for this position include, but are not restricted to: Testing the Debt Management (FICO 6, 11), Citizen facing portal or associated component functionalities by maintaining full traceability of defects and tests Understand business requirements and produce associated test scripts as per acceptance criteria Identify and drive resolution of defects or issues preventing delivery of Testing activities Gain knowledge or upskill to learn latest testing tools and apply them where it would be beneficial with automation Develop and maintain reusable test collateral Collaborate with teams working in other Debt Management delivery squads in the Software Development Lifecycle to drive acceptable solutions meeting business requirements Support the second line and third line support team with testing bug fixes or issues reported on live debt manager application, related components Understand the Agile and Waterfall delivery principles, methodology and tools Share, knowledge and lessons learned with teams and other delivery squads We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process: Managing a Quality ServiceWe'll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process: Technical skills Non Functional Testing Testing Tools Agile Working Also, great to have but not essential A background in banking/ debt processes, mortgage arrears,recovery and dealing with customers finances .
